  1. The part I an concerned with is the keel sump. This portion is continuously wet. It is currently gel-coat. My concern is alkyd enamels may not be the best choice for this section. Would thorough cleaning, and sanding with scotchbrite pad, and painting with total boat 1 part epoxy perhaps be a better choice? I will also be re-positioning some switches, and bilge pump. What would be the best choice for filling old holes?
