  1. Hi We have some 130 year old cypress planks, 20 feet long, that have dried and split grainwise with age, up to 1 inch gap towards the end of the grain. The wood still moves enough that it can be pulled together but it seems that would put too much strain on the wood once the clamps were released. There are also missing pieces that we want to graft in like puzzle pieces, like the entire bow The boat is going to a Museum but may be splashed for ceremonies periodically. I am contemplating the use of Pettit Flexpoxy but wanted some suggestions on materials and methods. Thanks!
