Attwood SpringLift Series Gas Springs : I need to replace gas strut for boat hatch. It is Spring Lift with the following numbers SL 36 C(or G) 284/95. I know the compressed and extended lengths, but do not know the compression rating. Any ideas?

Just use your measurements it will be plenty strong I'm sure.

I know what length to get. The pressure ratings range from 20# to 120#. I want it to hold up the hatch when it is opened, but don't want the pressure too strong. Any ideas on what pressure rating. Thanks
