Guest Dynaplate Lightning Protection : When the product spec says "Easy installation", what is the installation procedure to install on a FRP sailboat of 35'?

1 post in this topic

Hiroshi, The "easy installation" is 100% dependent on your vessel, the installation location, etc. In this case, it was a replacement for a fried bonding plate due to a lightning strike in a 52' Catana. The boat was hauled out (on the hard) and access was fairly simple as was installation of the new plate. Removal of the compromised plate was a little more difficult due to the accelerated corrosion/deterioration from the lightning strike. Good Luck!
