z spar bottom paint

 I have had a boat on the hard for over two years with one coat of z spar bottom paint, put on what do you think I need to do before adding another coat and going in the water. ????????                                                                                                                                                                             any help would be grate.                               Thank You        Alan Lorimer /  West Coast

Lightly sand with 80 - 120 grit, wipe clean with denatured alcohol and a dry rag.  Apply two coats of fresh bottom paint of your choice.

This would depend on which Zspar product you have used. If its a hard bottom paint( non-ablative) it will require sanding. If its an ablative paint you can simply wash it with water and then paint right over it.
