cabin sole varnish/polyurethane

2 posts in this topic

Working on re-finishing my cabin sole of my Cape Dory 31.  It's a thin veneer teak/holly sole so just using a fine grit paper and not sanding too hard.  Any recommendations on the type of product to put down.  I have read that varnish is not hard enough and it's better to use polyurethane.

Thanks

Don

If you want a polyurethane take a look at Interlux Perfection two part varnish.  I typically is harder than regular spar varnigh.
