Not starting

2 posts in this topic

Went to Clearwater this past weekend, boat started and rant well. Went to refuel at marina and would turn over but wouldn't start. Boat tow infolved. Started later that night after trailering boat. Tried to start next morning and wouldn't start. open up engine hatch a few minutes ago and it fire but wouldn't run. Heard a noise from what I think may have been the fuel pump. Pump was replaced in October. Don't smell any fuel so I don't think it is flooding. I'm leaning to think it is the fuel pump again. What are your thoughts. I can't find anything on YouTube about this particular pump. Any ideas

thanks Bob

It could be the fuel pump, but check some of the other causes for a lack of fuel such as the fuel filter.  If you have a primary water separator filter, and haven't replaced it recently, check that to be sure it isn't really clogged.  If that is fine then it time for a mechanic.
