Fix trapped bubbles in hardened resin

1 post in this topic

I used CCR to make a casting and ended up with some bubbles (thought the surface was completely sealed but I must’ve missed a couple of spots). I’ve been doing research on fixing it and found suggestions to sand down past the bubbles, sand the whole surface and reapply a thin coat. Haven’t found anyone doing this with Entropy’s resins specifically, or CCR-like products. Mostly with resins meant for thin coatings (e.g.: ArtResin). I’m curious if anyone has tried anything like this or if anyone knows whether this method would not work with this product. If not, what's the best approach to fixing trapped bubbles? Should I use the super sap one instead of the ccr to apply a thin coat after sanding?

Thanks,
Steve
