Bruce- Do you mean they were problematic Groco seacocks that Groco replaced, or inferior seacocks that you replaced with Grocos? I'll assume the latter: Everyone has their own comfort level, but I'd recommend you go the extra mile and replace the entire thing. Partly a compatibility issue. Partly because you never know what's lurking out of sight with an older or suspect or problematic fitting (or the metal it's made from) -- or any sealants or hull material around it. Once you've got the Grocos installed, I suspect they'll last longer than you or I will. I replaced my older through hulls and seacocks, etc., with Groco over the past few years. Lotta work but, I think, well worth it.

They look like they could be disassembled, but I doubt it. I think this is something you'd have to ask Groco.
