Jen Foam Brushes : Should I use foam brushes with interlux two part primer and interlux two part paint? Thanks

4 posts in this topic

Good question..I am not sure I would use them with top coat paint paritcularly with epoxy and limited pot times. Although I use them for varnish, foam brushes dont' seem to load as well as bristle brushes nor do they last as long. I do use foam rollers however, they work great with the roll and tip method of top coating.

They can soften and decay with many 2 part systems. I would use a chip brush or a "Fooler" being careful to remove loose bristles prior to painting. Vacuum the brush and then pull out loose hairs. This is an appropriate brush for the product
